Repair Service Plan
Terms & Conditions

The details behind the benefits: pricing, repair events, labor, parts, preventive care and your agreement.

Prepared October 20, 2026 · Proposed website copy. Not the Bronze / Silver / Gold preventive maintenance agreement.

1. What these terms apply to

These proposed terms describe the Local and Extended Area residential repair service plans offered by Simpson Maintenance LLC, doing business as Northwest Appliances. They do not replace the separate Bronze / Silver / Gold preventive maintenance plans, water-filter plan, used-appliance sales warranty, manufacturer warranty or third-party service authorization.

Before enrollment, the customer must receive and accept a completed plan agreement, service-address class, registered-appliance schedule, payment schedule and applicable state addendum/notices. Nonwaivable law and required notices control. A specifically agreed plan benefit controls over a general trip/labor provision; a later website edit does not change a previously accepted agreement or reduce a warranty already promised. This webpage does not collect signatures or payments.

2. Prices and what is additional

Membership and service charges
Payment or charge Local Extended Area
12 monthly installments $44 each $56 each
Total membership on installments $528 $672
Paid-in-full membership option $471 $601
Each future eligible repair event $79 + parts and approved extras $79 + parts and approved extras
Separate eligible enrollment call, when offered $79 $104

The office confirms the address class in writing before enrollment. No mileage boundary is established by this page. Prices exclude applicable tax, parts, shipping and separately approved extra work.

Membership plus both future $79 event fees totals $686 Local / $830 Extended on installments, or $629 / $759 prepaid. These amounts still exclude today's separate enrollment visit and other charges. The paid-in-full option is $57 Local / $71 Extended less than the installment membership total; this is not a promise of savings against ordinary repair bills or a claim of interest-free financing.

3. Payment schedule, activation and benefit year

Monthly installments pay the stated annual membership price; they do not buy independent month-to-month memberships. The completed agreement must state enrollment, first and last collection dates, activation and benefit expiration. The intended first installment is on an agreed date next month, not at enrollment; that schedule must be verified before acceptance. The prepaid membership alternative is payable at enrollment.

The current proposal provides activation no earlier than 30 calendar days after enrollment, after the first cleared membership payment. Benefits run for 12 consecutive months from the agreed activation date. Activation and payment dates are separate; late payment does not silently restart the waiting period or extend the benefit term. Today's fault and other conditions existing at enrollment are outside future repair benefits.

4. Two eligible repair events

The plan includes up to two eligible repair events during the benefit year. One event is one problem on one registered appliance. The customer pays $79 for each eligible event, plus separately billed parts, applicable tax/shipping and approved extras. The fee includes travel, diagnosis and up to two total technician working hours for that event.

An eligible diagnosis uses one event and incurs the $79 fee even if the customer declines quoted parts or additional work. Clearly excluded or unregistered work is explained and quoted as noncovered work rather than silently consuming an eligible event. Additional repairs after both events are used are separately quoted. Unused events expire and have no cash value.

5. Included labor and necessary returns

The two-hour allowance is technician working time shared across the initial visit and necessary return visits to finish the same eligible problem. It does not reset at each visit. A necessary return for that same repair does not incur another $79 event fee. Additional labor beyond the event allowance requires an estimate and approval before proceeding. There is no unlimited-labor promise.

Two-person work, lifting equipment and opening walls, cabinets or counters are not automatically included and require separate written scope, pricing and approval. Do not assume a wall-oven removal or a second technician is included. Any second-technician or special-access work must be described in a separate written scope and estimate before approval. No helper rate is established by this page.

6. Five registered appliances at one home

Up to five eligible household kitchen or laundry appliances must be listed at one residential service address with type, brand, model, serial number and condition. Either event may be used on any eligible listed appliance. Appliances must be safely accessible and used for normal residential purposes. Registration does not make a known fault eligible.

Equipment substitution, a change of address or a proposed transfer requires written office approval and a condition check. It does not erase an existing fault or automatically create a new mileage price.

7. Annual preventive maintenance

One combined appointment within the benefit term serves the same registered appliance list. Included work is accessible visual inspection, appropriate temperature/airflow checks, routine accessible cleaning and a written findings report. Parts, disassembly repairs, installation corrections and remediation of unsafe conditions are additional.

Maintenance cannot be exchanged for another repair event. It is not a guarantee that an appliance will not fail.

8. Included dryer-vent cleaning

During the annual maintenance appointment, one cleaning is included for a registered dryer's accessible wall-exit vent run up to 15 feet. Roof exits, longer runs, concealed or unsafe access, vent replacement and vent repairs are outside the included scope and separately quoted. No separate included vent-only trip is promised.

The technician documents the measured scope and any access or cleaning limitation; complete removal of every obstruction is not guaranteed.

9. Parts, estimates and repair decisions

Eligible repair parts are 10% below Northwest Appliances' regular retail repair-part price. Tax, shipping, outside purchases and excluded charges are not discounted. Parts are separately billed and are not financed by membership installments. The customer receives a parts and extra-work estimate before approval; parts payment may be requested before ordering.

Original manufacturer parts or suitable equivalent parts may be used as identified in the estimate. Applicable manufacturer parts warranties pass to the customer without reducing Northwest Appliances' own promised warranty. The customer may decline a repair. The plan provides no replacement appliance, cash payout or automatic percentage-of-replacement-value repair limit.

10. Excluded work and causes

  • Sealed refrigeration systems, compressors, refrigerant lines and refrigerant work.
  • Washer tubs, drums, bearings, gear cases and transmissions.
  • Two-person/lifting work or work requiring opening walls, cabinets or counters, unless specifically addressed in a separate approved scope.
  • Cosmetic damage, shelves, handles, glass, trim, bulbs, consumable filters, software/network issues and recalls.
  • Commercial use; misuse; accidents; pests; fire; flood; lightning; theft; unauthorized repair; and failures caused by external power, plumbing, drains, gas, venting or installation.
  • Today's problem, known faults and other conditions existing at enrollment; unregistered equipment; and work outside the address, dates or event allowance.

Noncovered work requires a separate estimate and approval. These exclusions do not excuse damage caused by Northwest Appliances or remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

11. Scheduling and customer responsibilities

Members receive scheduling preference within normal business routes, subject to capacity, parts availability and safe access. There is no guaranteed emergency, after-hours, same-day or dedicated distant trip. Member specials apply only when announced with their own terms.

The customer provides accurate appliance information, safe utilities/access and an adult authorized to approve work, and performs routine lint/filter care. Unsafe work may be stopped and documented. Any access or missed-appointment charge must be disclosed and agreed, not invented after the fact. For smoke, gas odor, sparks or another emergency, stop using the appliance if safe and seek appropriate emergency assistance; the plan is not emergency response.

12. Workmanship, existing warranties and losses

The repair warranty disclosed before work is authorized, including any specifically agreed plan enhancement, governs the completed repair. Report a suspected same-repair defect promptly so we can inspect. Work that qualifies as correction under our applicable warranty is not treated as a newly purchased membership event merely to charge another fee.

The plan does not reimburse appliance-failure or delay losses such as spoiled food, lost use, meals, laundry or lodging to the extent exclusion is permitted by law. That limitation does not excuse Northwest Appliances' own negligent work or damage it causes, or eliminate nonwaivable rights. The separate used-appliance sales warranty is not changed.

13. Secure payment authorization

Use the designated secure payment interface—not email, this webpage, or technician notes—for payment credentials. The separate authorization must identify the chosen amount and exactly twelve scheduled membership charges, or the selected single prepaid charge. Event fees, parts, extra work and a new renewal term need appropriate separate approval.

A stored payment method is not a guarantee of collection and does not remove the customer's ability to revoke automatic-payment authorization. Revoking payment authority is different from determining any lawful earned balance; the office must supply an appropriate written account statement and lawful payment route. No undisclosed late fee, automatic remaining-balance penalty, unsupported retry or duplicate collection is authorized by this page.

14. Cancellation, refunds and required notices

Contact the office by phone, email or writing to request cancellation. We confirm the effective date and provide an account statement explaining applicable refunds, credits and any lawful earned balance. These terms do not make membership payments blanket nonrefundable, accelerate all remaining installments, or impose an automatic discount clawback.

The final applicable state addendum must specify the approved cancellation/refund calculation, treatment of remaining installments, required free-look rights and provider notices. Any required home-sale cancellation notices must be provided separately. These items must be completed before enrollment; this webpage is not a substitute for those notices or a completed state addendum.

15. Renewal and provider cancellation

The initial installment authorization alone does not authorize a renewal. Any automatic renewal requires a valid separate customer choice and the final approved notices explaining the new term, price, billing dates and cancellation method. If renewal is not authorized, new-term billing and benefits do not continue automatically.

If Northwest Appliances cancels or suspends benefits, required notice, reasons, refunds and applicable law control. The approved failed-payment and cancellation process must be documented before enrollment. A payment issue does not eliminate a valid existing workmanship obligation or safety responsibility.

16. General terms, Acima and records

The separately accepted Appliance Sales & Service Terms continue to govern applicable service documentation, reasonable access/safety procedures and other general matters except where a specific accepted plan benefit or mandatory law controls. These repair plans do not alter separate maintenance memberships, water-filter service, used-appliance warranties or third-party contracts.

Do not assume Acima will fund a service plan or labor-only service. Any third-party payment option needs transaction-specific eligibility and its own agreement. This webpage makes no financing approval promise. Customers must receive the version they accept; later online revisions apply prospectively and cannot silently reduce an accepted benefit.

17. Before enrollment

The office must confirm the service address class, annual price, installment or prepaid choice, registered equipment, existing faults, activation/expiration dates, the exact labor/special-access scope, secure payment authorization, and applicable state notices. Provide a copy of the completed agreement and accepted terms to the customer.

Reading this page, asking a question or clicking a contact link does not enroll the customer, authorize a charge, consent to renewal or opt the customer into marketing. Optional communications permission must be separate from the purchase.

Proposed page content: enrollment requires completion and approval of the state-specific agreement, cancellation/refund provisions, required provider/backing disclosures and billing process. This explanatory page alone is not a legally finalized contract.
